We have a “critical need” for the following adjunct instructional

position (1 or 2 persons) to be filled within the next two weeks

(by mid – May 2008):

SPECIAL PROJECT ADJUNCT INSTRUCTOR:

(Energy Technology-Corporate Training)
1) Must be available to teach weekdays between 7AM -  5 PM

2) Minimum field experience required are ALL of the following:
2 yrs Steam Elect Power Generation Plant/s and,
2 yrs refinery operator and/or refinery instrument technician and,
1st Class Steam License-City of Dearborn or (3rd, 2nd or HP Boiler

Operators Steam License) and  eligible to obtain higher Dearborn

license  immediately, and, Teaching experience: Minimum of 2 yrs

as a teacher or an industrial trainer with experience  training operators

in a hands-on multiple-activities facility or environment such as in

a steam power pant, refinery,  industrial process plant or in a similar

program operated at the industrial and/or two-year college level, and,
3) Developed Computer skills associated with online study, MS Word,

e-mail, spread sheets, and similar programs and,
4) (Highly desirable skills) should include teaching with  web-based

and/or online study systems and,  loading instructional management

systems such as UCompass or Blackboard, using programs such as  

MS-word, Acrobat-writer, Excel and working with various text and

graphic file formats.
